- "How good is the SWAG?"
- "On a scale of 1 to 10, what's the average runner at the race like with 1 being your Aunt Mary who has moral objections to running for fun but is doing it because she gets a free T-shirts, and 10 being that "youngest looking old person" in your office that drinks green goop for lunch"
- "Is there free beer?"
- Follow-up question: "How much?"
- "Do people wear costumes? Will it be frowned upon if I do(n't) wear a cape?"
- "Can I use a stroller? For my kid, not me, my kid..."
- "It's not just going to be me and the Verona football team, right, because that gets awkward"
- "Is the course marked?"
- "Do I get to high-five any local celebrities (Ben Brust touched this hand in 2011)?"
